The Neutron and Ion Dosimetry Symposium (NEUDOS-14) was combined with International Conference on Individual Monitoring of Ionising Radiation (IM2022). The both conferences took place on April 25-29, 2022 in Krakow, Poland. The organizers were The Institute of Nuclear Physics Polish Academy of Sciences (IFJ PAN) and the European Radiation Dosimetry Group (EURADOS).
The conference was carried out in a hybrid mode. Approximately 260 participants from around the world attended the event, with about 180 attendees in an in-person way and about 80 attendees in a web-based way. For over the five days of conference, 128 presentations were given in 19 oral sessions and 115 posters were presented, divided into two poster sessions.
The session “Neutrons in medicine: BNCT” included 7 presentations, presented by: Stefano Agosteo on behalf of the BNCT@CNAO collaboration, Edoardo Maffucci from Università degli Studi di Torino, Natalia Knake from National Centre for Nuclear Research, Roberto Bedogni from Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare, Michał Silarski from Jagiellonian University, Monika Szczepanek from Jagiellonian University and Anna Selva from Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare.
The poster session included the presentation of 2 posters entitled:
1. Human head phantom to ensure dosimetry of dose components for Boron Neutron Capture Therapy made from liquid silica glass. E. Michaś, K. Tymińska, M. A. Gryziński, J. Kocik, R. J. Barczyński
2. Dosimetry of the MARIA Reactor H2 channel beam in research on boron-neutron capture radiotherapy. M. Waluś, A. Dróżdż, M. Zieliński, M. Gryziński, E. Michaś, N. Knake, M. Wiliński,
Sz. Domański, M. Kuć, J. Kocik
